An Ancient Faith for the Modern World

The Diocese of New Orleans is in the Anglican Catholic Church (aka "ACC").

 The ACC's ecclesiastical polity is episcopal. At the top is the Church, which is international in character. The Church consists of Provinces, which are overseen by an Archbishop and cover continents or other large geographic areas. Each Province is made up of Dioceses, which generally follow the boundaries of countries or groups of states. Each diocese is overseen by a Bishop Ordinary, who is the governor and chief pastor within his jurisdiction. He is assisted in pastoral oversight by priests and deacons, who minister within the parish churches, and in governance by the synods, which are made up of the clergy and laity of a given jurisdiction.  

The Trinitarian is the official gazette of the Anglican Catholic Church. Since the signing of the inter-communion agreement between the so-called “G-4” churches, it has also become a newspaper of record for the Anglican Catholic Church, Anglican Province of America, Anglican Church in America, and Diocese of the Holy Cross (now called the "G-2 churches since the merger of the ACC, ACA and the DHC). 

It is published 6 times a year and is available in a print edition (newspaper style) or a digital edition (PDF format). The archbishops recommend that all their clergy and members subscribe to this newsletter.

The Anglican Office Book is a complete resource for the recitation of the Daily Offices of the 1928 American Book of Common Prayer, supplemented with an expanded Kalendar, anthems, hymns, responses, and collects from the Sarum Breviary, other regional Books of Common Prayer, and the wider Western liturgical tradition. In addition to the Prayer-Book orders of Mattins and Evensong, it contains a complete cursus of the Little Hours, derived from the Sarum and Benedictine uses.  

 Common Prayer Online as written in the 1928 Book of Common Prayer presented by the Anglican Province of America provides easy look up features for the Daily Office for Morning and Evening Prayer. 

 At Common Prayer, you can find the correct readings for Morning Prayer, Evening Prayer, Holy Communion, and various feasts of the Church.   

The Cradle of Prayer offers recordings for morning and evening prayers and free daily downloads, read directly from the pages of 1928 Book of Common Prayer. May these readings and songs refresh your mind, heart, and soul as we walk in the path of our Lord together.

At St. Augustine's Institute of Theology, our mission is to prepare students to become effective leaders in ministry through rigorous academic study, spiritual formation, and practical experience. 

 Our program is not a replacement for a standard seminary program, but to empower those in the Late Vocations process to have a quality learning experience coupled with practical skills to produce good parish lay leaders, deaconesses, deacons, and priests. 

We are not a degree granting institute!  We offer programs which lead to certification in various areas of ministry.  Our different program tracks are:

 Our programs are designed to equip students with the knowledge and practical skills they need to serve in a variety of ministry contexts.

 Our faculty members are experienced scholars and practitioners who are committed to helping students grow in their knowledge of scripture, theology, and pastoral ministry. They bring a wealth of diverse perspectives and experiences to the classroom and to our workshops. 

Saint Bede’s Anglican Catholic Theological College is a virtual college established in 2001 to serve the needs of the Continuing Anglican Churches. The College provides online academic, spiritual and pastoral training of men for the ordained ministry; post-secondary theological education for lay people; and post-ordination training and professional development.  

 Candidates for ordination may undertake their studies on either a full-time or part-time basis. Upon successful completion of the prescribed program of theological studies and ministry preparation, the candidate is granted either a Bachelor in Theology (B.Th.) or a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) by the Board of Regents and is recommended for ordination to their Diocesan Bishop. 

For those students and postulants undertaking courses to upgrade their theological formation or to broaden their theological knowledge, a transcript of courses successfully completed is issued. Admission to the College’s course of studies is restricted to members of the Traditional Anglican Church and other Continuing Anglican Churches with the approval of the Board of Regents.

The Mission of the International Anglican Fellowship is to serve as a conduit of financial aid for Christian missionary work and church-building in places like Kenya, Uganda, Dominican Republic, Indonesia, and the Sioux Nation

The work of the IAF is supported by direct contributions from Church congregations and individuals.

Anglican Parishes Association publishes prayer books, missals, devotional books, tracts, calendars, and other materials to serve the religious, educational, and liturgical needs of the Anglican Catholic Church, its members, and other interested persons. The proceeds from sales are devoted to the costs of publication, distribution and charitable giving. APA is the official publisher for the Anglican Catholic Church. It operates from Athens, Georgia.

Keeping the 1928 Book of Common Prayer in print.

In constant use since its authorization by General Convention in A.D. 1928, the Prayer Book remains the treasured worship resource of traditional Anglicans in the United States. DEUS Publications print it faithfully — in personal, pew, large-print, and Spanish editions — and ship every order free anywhere in the country.

The Affirmation of St. Louis, adopted in 1977 at the Congress of St. Louis, is the foundational declaration of faith and principles for the Continuing Anglican movement. It reaffirms the Anglican Church’s commitment to the traditional Catholic faith as received from the undivided Church of the first millennium, upholding the authority of Holy Scripture, the Apostles’ and Nicene Creeds, the seven sacraments, and the historic threefold ministry of bishops, priests, and deacons in apostolic succession. The Affirmation rejects modern theological innovations that depart from Scripture and tradition—such as the ordination of women and doctrinal relativism—and calls for faithfulness to the historic Book of Common Prayer, the Thirty-Nine Articles (interpreted through Catholic tradition), and moral teachings rooted in Christian truth.
